Any company, firm, association, partnership, financial institution, trust, statutory body, enterprise, or individual which is involved in, or otherwise associated with, international business in Barbados shall be eligible for Membership in the Association. Membership in BIBA is also open to local and foreign-based companies or individuals who are involved in a business or profession which may have some connection to international business.

The interest of a Member in the Association normally lapses and ceases to exist upon his death or dissolution, non-payment of the subscription dues or when he ceases to be a Member by resignation or otherwise in accordance with the By-Laws of the Association. However, with the prior written approval of the Executive Committee, a Member being a company or body corporate may transfer its membership in the Association to a related or affiliated company or entity.
